Why we ask

CamIndex shows adult webcam directory content. In some countries and regions the law requires age verification (or highly effective age assurance) before adults can access such material. Where those rules apply, we hide NSFW previews and ask you to verify with AgeVerif before continuing.

Where age verification is required on this site

We currently require AgeVerif for visitors whose location (via Cloudflare geo) is one of the following. This list reflects jurisdictions with clear, enforceable adult-site age-check duties. It is not legal advice and may change.

• Cyprus (CY) — Age verification for adult content (CRTA / AVMSD context).
• United Kingdom (GB) — Online Safety Act — highly effective age assurance (Ofcom).
• France (FR) — Loi SREN — Arcom technical age-check standards for adult sites.
• United States (US) — State age-verification laws (≈27 states). We gate US visitors when Cloudflare reports one of those states; if the state header is missing we gate the whole US.

United States — state laws

More than twenty US states require reasonable age verification for commercial sites where a substantial portion of content is sexual material harmful to minors. We use Cloudflare region (state) geo to ask only visitors from those states; if the state is unknown we still ask all US visitors.

States with dedicated adult-site age-verification statutes include (non-exhaustive, subject to change): Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia, Wyoming.

How verification works

Verification is provided by AgeVerif (third-party). You may use methods they offer (for example PayPal login or other challenges enabled for this site). After a successful check we store a browser cookie so we do not ask again on every visit. Thumbnail previews stay replaced with a safe placeholder until verification succeeds.

Search-engine crawlers are not shown the age gate, so public pages remain indexable with safe placeholders where required.
